Account Manager – Fleet Contracts
Our client is seeking to recruit a new Account Manager to add to its successful Client Relations Team.  The successful candidate will directly manage a portfolio of clients in terms of relationship and growing business for the company. In addition the successful candidate will provide support and assistance on all aspects of the account management plan, processes and procedures.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactive management of accounts, building and maintaining an excellent working relationship with customers and key contacts
  • Deliver to agreed annual client account and car fleet targets – based on individual and company objectives
  • Prepare and attend client review meetings, taking lead on own portfolio of clients
  • Ensure all requested work is completed in shortest possible timeframe and/or in line with service agreement
  • Proactively propose new changes to the fleet policy to ensure customer spend is reduced, health and safety issues are covered
  • Ensure resolution of client queries and issues to agreed timeframes. 
  • Proactively update clients on changes to their cost base and on best car policy in each grade
  • Preparation of reports, account development plans and presentations as required
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure objectives are met
  • Monitoring quoting and car branding processes closely and in line with procedures
  • Update and maintain all client records in a timely fashion and accurately, ensuring all necessary documentation is on file/in progress
  • Participate in out of hours activities (dinners etc.) and assist colleagues at functions as required
  • Participate in organising and planning of promotional activities as required
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned by Management
 
 
Key Requirements:
  • 2 years previous experience in Relationship Management/Account Management/Customer facing role(s) desirable, but not essential
  • Energetic self-starter, team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to building strong business relationships with clients, focused on exceeding client expectations
  • Strong organisational, presentation, and communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to  work to deadlines and/or under pressure
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace environment, with flexibility and ability to multitask
  • Extensive IT skills - Microsoft Office, email, etc.

 

Remuneration:
Salary to €35k + bonus plan, company car & €75 phone allowance.
